Iron-Age Hillfort

This fort, located at the end of an oval spur, is protected by a dump-rampart of turves, chalk and flint, with an external ditch. The defenses enclosed an area of 7ha, and entrances lay on the south-west and nort-west sides. The rampart is still quite well preserved, though the interior of the fort is tree-covered.
