Iron-Age Hillfort

This ovoid fort is defended by double banks and ditches all around. There are several gaps in the defences, but without excavation the original entrances remain to be determined; the entrance currently visible on the south is known to be modern. Occupation evidence is sparce and has yielded no reliably dateable finds, though an Iron-Age context is most likely.
