Din Sylwy - Hillfort of the Sylwy

The name is easily translated as 'The Fort of the Sylwy Tribe', and is locally also known as Bwrdd Arthur or 'Arthur's Table'. The settlement is ovular in outline and covers an area of (7ha), enclosed by a thick drystone wall of large limestone blocks with an external berm, though no ditch. The two entrances are situated to the south and west. The site was occupied by a part of the Ordovices tribe during the Roman period.
