This small, almost rectangular camp has all sides but the NW plotted, but the existing W corner-angle gives a good indication as to where these defences lay. The plotted sides each have a centrally placed gateway with no sign of internal or external defences. The camp is aligned NE-SW. The fort and camps at Brougham lie only three miles to the south-west.
