This camp lies 1,550 feet from the fort at Strageath, on the opposite (?) bank of the River Earn. The east side of the camp has not yet been firmly established but crop-marks seem to indicate that it may have lay about 1,540 ft (470 m) from the west side.

There is another temporary camp nearby at Dornock (NN8719), and two more at Innerpeffray (NN9118).
