Tamfourhill Camp

Marching or Temporary Camp

Discovered from the air in 1977 lying about 300 yards south of the Antonine Wall and about 330 yards south-west of the Watling Lodge fortlet. The northern gateway of this larger example of Antonine labour-camps was defended by a titulum outwork.
